Tarnia Nicol is an Australian Art Director based in Berlin.
Tarnia graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Architecture before moving onto a Masters degree in Production Design at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS). In the following years Tarnia worked on projects all over Australia; on feature films, short films, music videos and commercials, television and gaming.
Tarnia's passion for history, travel and extending her design craft brought her to Europe in 2009. Newly arrived, her design skills saw her working at the Babelsberg Film Studios on films such as Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel, Gore Verbinski's A Cure for Wellness and most recently on Duncan Jones's Mute. In 2016 Tarnia worked in London, Art Directing on Kingsman: The Golden Circle at Leavesden Warner Bros. Film Studios, UK.
